Introducing: Dance Hub IL
Yup, this is really happening!
Ever wonder if a competition is going on somewhere else in the state? Ever been caught off guard as you find out on Facebook that your rival competed last weekend only 20 miles away?
The goal of our new Dance Hub IL page is to help you stay in the loop and keep scores in perspective. In this new day and age of competitive dance in Illinois, information is hard to come by. We’ll collect as much information as we can and bring it to you right here — contest dates, results, and our famous Competition Blog where we analyze the numbers, put them in perspective, and search for trends and insights.
Scores and results are super difficult to come by, so we’re going to need your ongoing help. We’re building the largest database of team dance statistics and we’re looking for results and score sheets from coaches and dancers. Not just the new stuff, either: we’ll gladly take a look at scores from years ago so our database has some historical perspective.
We’re only a few days away from launching our rewards program. It’s our way of thanking you for helping build a statistical community for Illinois’ newest sport — even though we all know that pom and dance teams have competed for at least 40 years! We’re thrilled to reach out to the dance community for their support, and promise to create a space where you can get information to make the competitive dance experience less stressful and ultimately more fun!
