Slideshow 15 extra notes

slide 1: Genoa-Kingston

This 1A star program took a year off the scene but were back to their awesome ways this past season. This shot is on Warren’s dance floor on December 17th.

slide 2: Geneva JV

I’ve learned this over the years: every elite varsity program has a great JV team. These dancers brought their talents to Crystal Lake Central’s competition on 12/2.

slide 3: Naperville North

Now that is some serious neck flexibility and strength! The NN dancers looked strong on their home floor at their December comp and established themselves as 3A faves.

slide 4: Sycamore JV

On a foggy Friday night in December, the Sycamore dancers had a short trip to and from the DeKalb competition. These JV dancers were nice enough to stop for an 8CA picture after awards!

slide 5: Tinley Park

The TPHS program isn’t a stranger to the state floor. Their capable lyrical dancers are shown in this Day 1 clip from Bloomington this past January.

slide 6: Illini West

The Chargerettes worked hard to qualify this dance for IDTA state. Here’s a moment from their challenging battle in the single-A Jazz category at the IDTA Highland comp on February 2nd, leading to a state qualification.

slide 7: Rolling Meadows

After sharply executing their fun pom routine, the RMHS varsity team got to take home this classy 2A trophy from the Naperville North competition on December 2nd.

slide 8: St. Charles North

Every fall, usually after the homecoming game, the SCN dancers turn off the football stadium lights and treat the crowd to a glowstick hip hop routine. It’s pretty amazing what lots of packaging tape can do! Before the lights come back on, the crowd is treated to a fireworks show.
