HAILEY DAVIS
Hampshire Varsity Dance Team / JR.
Years dancing: 14!
Favorite memory of being on your team? By far my favorite part of being on the team is bonding with all the girls. At the beginning of the year, UDA camp is always such a fun time getting to know everyone. We always like to order food late at night after long days of dancing and learning choreo. It’s honestly where we get to know each other the best because we are all slaphappy from the exhaustion of camp, so we share the funniest stories.
Favorite skill to perform? I love all kinds of turn combos!
Is there a skill that you had to work extra hard to get? There was a solid year early in middle school where I worked to get my side aerial. I spent almost every day outside in the grass over the summer trying to keep my hands off of the ground. There were times when I thought I would never be able to do it, but now it’s muscle memory!

Stuff you do when not dancing: I love to bake and organize things. I also catch up on countless hours of lost SLEEP!
Any studios, dance teachers, or supporters you’d like to mention that helped you get to where you are today? Duet Dance Academy/ D2 Performing Company has been my second home all 14 years of my dance career! The teachers there have taught me everything I know about dance. Specifically, Jenny Miquelon is like my second mom and has kept my love for dance alive through her amazing studio. Katie Zale is another teacher who I have known since I was a baby and has pushed me to be the best dancer I can be, and she is always inspiring me to do better. I have made the best friendships here and have the best support from them and the dance moms. We’re all one big dance family that I wouldn’t trade for the world. <3
