Kaitlyn studied at Dance Connection in Grayslake before leading her prominent high school team while also staying active with her studio's competitive program. She attends the University of Missouri where she studies health sciences and takes classes with the Missouri Contemporary Ballet. She choreographed a state-winning routine in 2015 for the Grayslake Colts and has choreographed several projects for groups on the Mizzou campus.
Lauren danced with Lake Park's competitive team before becoming a member of the Purdue Goldusters. She crafted the York Dance Team's championship-winning routine in the ultra-competitive IHSA 3A division in 2018. Lauren also excels as a teacher--she guided her own 1A IC Catholic Prep team to a sectional championship in 2018, and leads technical training sessions with prominent competitive teams.
Both Kaitlyn and Lauren are available to choreograph for any team’s non-competition / halftime / homecoming routine. For competition routines in Illinois, 2A teams can take advantage of Lauren’s 8 Count Audio choreography work.
Dances can evolve throughout the year, and those changes can make a ton of difference during competition season. Let our experienced team put a fresh set of eyes on your dance and the athletes who execute it. Whether it’s consulting on changes our cleaning up the performance, our certified coaches and judges can refine your pathway to success during competition season!
Whether at your practice or remotely over a live stream, we can refine your dance and/or its execution. Could parts of your routine be a better match between your dancers’ skills and the choreography? Are you hitting all the possible parts of the rubric? Are you searching for the right balance of both performing and executing? Spacing, synchro, spotlight moments, expansion, contraction, emoting, artistic priorities–these are just some of the areas that a set of fresh eyes and an outsider’s voice can address. Our certified coaches and judges have your back!
When convenience takes priority during your busy stretches of the season, we can assess your video performances and give you the nuanced, informed feedback that only certified coaches and judges can provide. Big-picture formation issues, little nit-picks, and everything in between…that’s our experts’ jam. Think of it as the ultimate feedback sheet overflowing with practical details customized by your goals, situation, and totally informed by our experience and your recorded dances.
