Season tidbits: 1st place at Stevenson comp; West Suburban Conference champions; 2nd at IHSA sectionals; 24th on Day 1. In IDTA, qualified their dances early in the season (12/7 at Gardner) and laid low, focusing on IHSA comps.

THE SUPER-QUICK INTERVIEW:
What’s it like to dance in both IHSA and IDTA?
It can be very challenging and puts pressure on us competing in both, but we love dancing alongside other amazing teams that push us and inspire us. It is always very rewarding to perform no matter what we place.
Was there a point in the fall or winter when you realized you were having a really good season?
During our competitive season we definitely had a good feeling about our team and its dynamic when we won the Stevenson invitational competition. During the summer we bonded as a team at UDA camp; we especially knew we would all be very close during our annual talent show on the last night of camp.
What skills are you guys especially good at?
Individually we all have our own personal strengths whether it be turning, jumping, or flexibility that all complement each other. However, as a whole, we work on turning in second a lot.
Favorite style of dance to perform?
We all love to perform our contemporary/jazz routine.
Favorite style of dance to watch?
We love watching hip hop teams and unique lyrical dances.
Are there other teams you guys are big fans of?
We love watching Stevenson, Maine South, and Geneva.
What are some fave memories of the season up to this point?
We have so many favorite moments including winning our conference, long bus rides to competition, and Kerry winning the craziest dancer at UDA camp!
