All-State Dance Team 2024: Brynley Laubenstein

Brynley Laubenstein

LINCOLN RAILETTES DANCE TEAM (senior)

1ST TIME ON THE 8CA ALL-STATE DANCE TEAM

6 years

My favorite memory overall would be winning IDTA state in our AA pom division this year for my senior year. I also loved FNL during football season and pregame during basketball season.

I started dancing in 7th grade for my school’s dance team and I fell in love with it. I continued all the way throughout high school. It has always been something I value and I tried to push myself to get better each day. My favorite skill is turns in second. My teammates were always the best groups of girls and this year in particular was super special. They are truly amazing people who want to grow and learn their confidence inside and outside of dance. As a captain this year, I wanted nothing more for them and we have had super successful seasons for all of my years.

I want to give a shoutout to my family for always supporting me, my teammates for going through it all with me and pushing me, and my coaches for teaching me discipline and skill as well as responsibility.

To perform, pom. To watch, lyrical or hip hop.

I like to go for runs, walk my dog, bake, read, and watch TV.

Brynley almost had her season taken away from her due to an injury, but she kept positive and ended up being able to come back and caught up quicker than anyone ever expected.
