Becoming a UDA all-american dancer at camp over the summer, making some of the best dance friends from other schools, pre-performance rituals, and scoring in the 90s for the first time with placing first at some of our competitions!
Cheering on my team and watching the growth that occurs over the season is the most rewarding experience, and I am forever grateful to enjoy it surrounded by such an extraordinary group of people I’m lucky to call teammates beside me. As such a close-knit group, quite literally family after seeing each other for a minimum of 13 hours a week, we really are one another’s biggest supporters, rooting for each other through it all, highs and lows, making all of us stronger every single day.
Shout out to our mother duckling coaches, Coach Tengler and Coach Aguilar, for all their care and support. Huge shout out to all the senior dancers, whether on my team or other schools, who I’ve been honored to meet over my past 3 years on varsity. I wouldn’t be the dancer or even person I am today without them. And most importantly my sister and my parents, as none of these amazing opportunities would have been possible without them.
I love performing hip hop (of course) and pom, and I love watching jazz performances (especially if they’re to Taylor Swift songs!!).
I am a big reader and I love to bake, I also enjoy running a lot! 🙂
