Being an individual dancer is one thing, but being a member on a team is another. It is an amazing opportunity and a big responsibility.
I would like to give a shoutout to my coach and to my teammate Ali, my best friend and dance partner all in one. To Coach Katie- thank you for pushing me to do my best, who told me I could do it even when I didn’t think I could, and for always encouraging me. To Ali- you always push me to do my best and give it my all and are always willing to go over the counts and moves every time I ask to run through them.
I love to perform jazz, hiphop, pom, and contemporary – I don’t really have a favorite. My favorite styles of dance to watch are contemporary, pom, and jazz, but I also love to watch a good hip hop routine! I really love to watch contemporary and jazz routines the most because they hold so much emotion and always tell a story.
I love to go on walks, watch sunsets, hang out with friends, travel, and I am always trying to come up with new combos or moves while listening to music.
Emma is an amazing dancer! She does fantastic technique and beautiful jumps! She also has great flexibility.
