1ST TIME ON THE 8CA ALL-STATE DANCE TEAM
I have been dancing for 11 years. Time has truly flown by and I would do anything to go back and soak it all up.
My all time favorite memory was winning IDTA state my sophomore year! This was our Covid year which meant constant routine changes, learning patience, and never ending obstacles. Our hard work paying off was truly the more rewarding feeling.
I am a very passionate dancer; my teammates often consider me to be a leader because I love dance so much and will do absolutely anything to succeed. I also am a super quick learner and am always ready to try something new or make changes. My team has been such a blessing and so supportive all four years of my dance career.
Coach Bri has been my coach all four years and has exceeded all expectations I could possibly have for the “perfect coach.” She has provided me with a home away from home and has never once made me feel anything less than amazing. She has pushed me in the most outstanding ways while making practice an escape at the same time. She is the definition of the perfect coach and I will forever cherish her love and dedication.
My favorite style of dance is pom. It’s my favorite to watch and preform as well! I love all dances that are sassy, girly, sharp, and full of facials. That’s exactly what comes to mind when I think of pom. I also really love hip hop
When I’m not dancing, I love to teach dance. I work at a dance studio and have loved every minute of it. I also like to do hair, makeup, hang out with my sisters, and spend lots of time outside.
Keira was a wonderful leader for our team this past season. She was known for always knowing the choreography so well that she could teach others, provide constructive criticism, and help with cleaning. Keira was a huge asset to our team, especially in the area of flexibility & technique.
