1ST TIME ON THE 8CA ALL-STATE DANCE TEAM
I’ve loved dancing since I can remember, from dancing bachata with my family to pom choreo. My “official” career has been with this season 3 years
Becoming one with the team and hyping each other up before we ate up the dance floor! I also loved our little video blogs with each other. As well as our Just Dance moments.
Being a dancer, being flexible I might get stuck at a certain part, but beat be love once I get it jammed pack my face and energy will POP—no question in that. For my team the world is EVOLVING; some might not think anything about an upcoming dance team with no experience but we showed any naysayers that the Mustangs aren’t to be downplayed—luv my team!
It would be wrong of me to not say anything about the person who made this possible, our one and only head coach, Mr. Johnson. Our team has been blessed with your presence bringing your experience and constructive criticism that was only for the best. I thank you truly from the bottom of my heart for making my journey with dance continue to be strong. As for my wonderful team I want to say I love each and everyone of you. I would shoutout two very incredible ladies, Yareht and Kim! Yareht, being a captain alongside you and Shlay has been such a great experience. Your drive truly shows in anything you put your mind to. Love you, captain. Kim G., when I say you have truly grown…I remember in the beginning of the season you were shy and weren’t able to compete with us but when you worked on yourself you showed us what it means to have THEE Kim on the dance floor.
I’m a sassy boy at heart so the energy and twang that captures me is that of hip hop. I will say however my dream is to dance to lyrical alongside those wonderfully talented individuals who you can tell lit their EVERYTHING in their craft! I love watching them
Love working on restorative policies that improve my community, both in school as my school’s vice president, and as seen by my community engagement with a CBO that has me on their Board of Directors. When I’m not doing that I love to enter my main character moment and take stage as an actor, eat a ton, and of course have concerts in the shower!
Jayden’s commitment to his craft is truly inspiring, his talent is a gift to us all. He is not afraid to share his passion with the world. Thank you for reminding us of the power of dance to move the soul.
