My favorite dance team memory was the first playoff game this football season. Joliet qualified for playoffs and it was held at Joliet West. This was an amazing experience to be able to spirit for our team at the playoffs especially being on our home field. Even though the weather wasn’t quite cooperating the energy and school spirit was something I’ve never seen before.
I am very hardworking and determined when it comes to dance. I am always up to try and perfect new tricks. Something to be known about my team is how enthusiastic everyone is to be there. OUR 2023-2024 team changed my entire perspective on dance teams and what a family should feel and look like.
I would like to thank my teammates from Joliet west Varsity Dance Team for always believing in me and pushing me to be my best. I would also like to thank Coach Cryder, Stevenson, and Pallouchi for trusting me to take on a leadership role this year and also helping me become the person and dancer I am today.
I like to perform and watch lyrical/contemporary because It allows everyone to show their emotions through dance instead of their words. I also like to watch pom because of the intricacy.
When I’m not dancing I enjoy horseback riding, camping, hiking, baking, cooking, and working.
