I have been dancing for 13 years
Spending extra time at competitions with my friends and dancing to our favorite songs
I am a firm believer in practice makes progress and with practice you can learn new skills or tricks you didn’t know before. My teammates all build each other up and create an environment that is both fun and hard-working. Overall, my team is one of my favorite parts about being a Cavalette: the coaches are supportive and we all have a great time.
I would like to shoutout Ms. Shannon, my studio teacher who has taught me the basics and built up my technique to help me be the dancer I am today. On top of that, she has taught me organization and responsibility and is one of the most hard-working people I know.
I like to perform hip hop and tap but I really enjoy watching lyrical as well as hip hop.
When I’m not dancing, I enjoy playing softball, spending time with friends and family, reading, shopping, and relaxing at home.
Although she is only a sophomore Claire has already started to show leadership potential. She always is ready for practice, happy to help her other teammates, and has a maturity about her that even adults recognize.
