Collaborate with the dance community to share information
After decades of stability, the Illinois competitive dance scene is in a state of uncertainty, with the doors to information frequently not open.
With the help of coaches and dancers, we’ll round up information that’s key to making the competitive dance experience more fulfilling and less unpredictable. This is the dance community’s single best destination to find and share competition information. By collaborating with teams, we can build an unprecedented database of scores to help dancers understand the context of their competition experience.
Unite dance teams across Illinois
Sharing creates understanding. By pooling information, dance teams in different sections of Illinois can avoid showing up to sectionals and the state contest completely blind. By glancing at the collected score data and competition dates, rural teams, inexperienced teams, and teams that make only a few appearances before sectionals will be able to compete with more clarity, context, and confidence.
For a sport that’s thrived for decades, Dance Hub Illinois is our closest chance at building connections across varying distances, assumptions, and experience levels.

We’ve helped teams earn dozens of state trophies over more than a decade, and have observed thousands of routines in IDTA, TDI, IHSA, and UDA competition. Dancers, coaches, and judges come and go, but the basic values stay the same: technical proficiency and artistic expression.

And we’ve got alternative ways of sorting out the scores that takes the edge off of the chaos of a no-category competition format.
